The list of baked goods went on and on at the Schenectady Trading Company Saturday afternoon. Four of the areas local bakeries created a pop-up shop for residents to shop fresh baked goods.

Caroline Bardwell, the owner of the Schenectady Trading Company, came up with the idea to connect residents with locally owned businesses.

Biel Crystal revives Hong Kong stock offer plan as glass supplier of Apple, Samsung, Huawei raises capital for expansion

Biel Crystal Holdings Limited, the world’s largest maker of smartphone screens, said it applied to raise capital in Hong Kong, reviving the initial public offering (IPO) that was scuttled three years ago amid the escalating trade war between the United States and China.

The Hong Kong-based company’s stock sale will be co-sponsored by JPMorgan Chase, HSBC and China International Capital Corporation (CICC), according to a filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange, without providing financial details.

NEW YORK (WWTI) — Grammy award winning musician Jason Mraz is one of the avocado farmers making Chipotle’s guacamole possible.

Chipotle released ‘extra facts’ about their restaurant in honor of National Avocado Day, where they offer free guacamole to their customers. Chipotle’s guacamole includes six simple ingredients; avocados, citrus juice, cilantro, red onion, jalapenos, and salt.

Chipotle is expected to use about 4.5 million cases of avocados, which is equivalent to more than 100 million pounds of fruit, this year.
